A gentle practice space to help you master the deep chest breath used during radiation therapy — so you arrive calm, confident, and ready.
About this app
During radiation therapy for breast cancer, you may be asked to take a deep breath and hold it — lifting your chest away from your heart and lungs so the beam doesn't affect healthy tissue.
This technique is called Deep Inspiration Breath Hold (DIBH). It can feel unfamiliar at first.
Breathe Buddy gives you a calm, private space to practice at home — so when the moment comes, your body already knows what to do.

Beautiful work.
You just practiced the exact breath your body will use during treatment. Each time you practice, it becomes a little more natural — a little more yours.
You are more prepared than you know. Your care team will be proud of you — and so should you be.
